ESRI Master Purchase Agreement Finalized!

We are very happy to report that the Master Purchase Agreement (MPA) with Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) has been finalized. For the next two years the State of Wisconsin and partner agencies will be able to obtain products and services at a more favorable rate through this agreement.

Mark your calendars for an important statewide stakeholder "Network" meeting on October 28th!

On Tuesday, October 28th (9:00 am - 4:00 pm) a meeting will occur in Appleton (Radisson Paper Valley Hotel) that will have an impact on the future of Geographic Information (GIS) in Wisconsin. We are now ready to kick-off another critical component of WIGICC, a vibrant statewide stakeholder "Network". Coordination Council Members Named, Meetings Planned

The interim Wisconsin Geographic Information Coordination Council (WIGICC) is forming! The process to select members of the new Council is nearly complete, with 14 of the 15 members now named. The first council meeting is scheduled for September 23rd in Madison, followed by a statewide stakeholder "Network" meeting on October 28th.

Stakeholder groups from around the state are in the final stages of identifying representatives for an interim Wisconsin Geographic Information Coordination Council. If all goes as planned, the first meeting of the Council should happen in late September of 2008.
